October 31-Wednesday

Mexican night last night was essentially margaritas and salsa. Great dinner tho.

Plenty of locks on the Danube and there will be many more on the Rhine.

We were slowed down by lock traffic during the night and thus will be 1 hour late getting into Passau, Germany. Our tour today is walking from the ship with no buses involved. After the tour, we will have free time to roam the city. Lee needs a new watch.

This is not an atypical house along the Danube as we move along. Not as many wine vineyards as we had thought.

Tied up at the primo spot for Passau, right at the base of the City Market and City Hall. Took a short walk up to St. Stephens' Church (yes, another St. Stephens) and stayed for an organ concert,

St. Stephens in Passau. Exquisite interior

17,774 pipes in this 0rgan. Biggest in the world.

After the concert, we wandered the city shopping area looking to buy a watch. No luck. Will find one in Wurtzburg in a few days. Had a small lunch in a sidewalk cafe and watched the other tourists.

Beer and fish fingers. Not too shabby
